––#RoadTrip12 Update:
Hey friends. We onto Day Six of the 2012 Quarterlife Ultimate Road Trip and we’re writing live from Dallas, Texas!
Thus far, we’ve traveled through seven states and made stops in the following cities: Orlando, Florida; Gainesville, Florida; Tifton, Georgia; Atlanta, Georgia; Birmingham, Alabama; Tupelo, Mississippi; Memphis, Tennessee; Little Rock, Arkansas; Dallas, Texas; Austin, Texas; San Antonio, Texas.
After spending today in Dallas, we’ll begin the northward trek of the Ultimate #RoadTrip12, passing back through Little Rock and Memphis en route to Nashville. After a night in Nashville, we’ll head north to Chicago before ending the week in Detroit. It is shaping up to be a great week upcoming!
As always, stay tuned. We’ll have tons of updates on the website, in addition to our Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.

Taken… with a real dad.
How amazing is that? I didn’t think Liam Neeson could be one-upped, but he did.

––Samsung Wants Your Old Smartphone
…and they’re willing to pay you up to $300 for it.
Samsung released the program on their Facebook Page on Monday and also on samsungupgrade.com, and they’re promising a refund within 30 days for anyone who buys a new Samsung smartphone and mails in their old one. There’s one catch though–––the rebate is contingent on the type of phone you’ve got. For example, if you have the biggest iPhone 4S (64GB) you can expect the full $300. If you only have the 32GB iPhone 4S, though, you can only expect $230. The 16GB? Just $215.
Would you trade in your smartphone for a significant refund? The Samsung Galaxy S III is $199 with a new contract; that alone at least has me thinking.

––We Leave You With This:
Daytona Cubs soundman Derek Dye was ejected from a game for playing ‘Three Blind Mice’ after a bad call:
He tweeted this:
If nothing else, I have a new pick-up line… “Hey, my name’s Derek and I’ve been ejected from a pro baseball game.” It’s bulletproof.
